This kit, once assembled, will enable you to use a proper keyboard with your RC2014 or RCBus system. For a full MSX build, this is the keyboard you need to control your hand built retro computer.

The Stegosaur Green keyboard is an similar to the Yellow MSX keyboard kit - detailed differences below. The main difference, aside from the colour, is the PPI module that plugs into your RC2014/RCBus backplane is a small more conventional height PCB.

This project includes both the keyboard kit and the PPI interface board kit.

• Keyboard PCB and components (passive components, IDC socket, and ICs).
• PPI PCB and components (passive components, IDC socket, and ICs with a tested 82C55 chip optionally included).
• The MSX Slot Selector option is only required for MSX configurations.
• The optional M1 Wait State Generator is only needed for MSX configuration with a stock Z80 CPU The Stegosaur and Yellow Turbo CPUs modules already include the M1 Wait State Generator.

What else do I need?

This module can work in a standard RC2014/RCBus RomWBW bootable system.
