Great news

Product release V1.5, it's the same than V1.4, just added a blue led matching receiving Teleinfo signal allowing to quickly see if wiring is correct. Also added trimmer to adjust teleinfo sensitivity signal if needed. See History section below

Other option for ESP8266/ESP32

If you plan to connect this board to an ESP32 or ESP8266, please check out the new dedicated shield for that named WeMos Teleinfo that fits directly to an ESP8266 Mini D1 or ESP32 Mini, can be simpler option if you plan to use ESP.

PiTInfo

Still compatible with Linky Standard (9600BPS) and Historique (1200BPS) modes

To simplify handling, time to build and package, we limited the Teleinfo connector option.

This version include only Plug Connector (the one in two parts) unsoldered or soldered (at the same price). This mean that you don't have to pay more for the connector, it's included in the price.

You can select version (all connectors soldered or not) on checkout. Old connectors will be removed once stock will be finished.

What is it?

A Raspberry Pi shield for French national metering system called "Téléinfo". This convert data issued from National Energy provider to serial interface and then, let the user doing whatever he likes with the data, such as putting them into Emoncms, sending to MQTT or sending them to a database.

Why did you make it?

Following lot of users demands that wanted a cheap board after reading my dedicated article on my blog

What makes it special?

It's tiny, simple, cheap and very useful!!

What's included ?

One complete and assembled board. The Raspberry PI black connector (2x5pt) is provided and soldered. Téléinfo terminal block connector is provided and also soldered. To minimize transport size and keep the possibility to put into Raspberry PI with enclosure. Téléinfo connector is soldered same side than the RPi GPIO connector (like picture). If you don't want both connectors to be soldered, just select the correct option before checkout.

The SD CARD on picture is for size reference only, it's not included.

This device works with any Raspberry Pi Version (2, B, B+, A, Zero, 3, 4, ....). Alternatively it can also be used to connect to any device that as a RX line input such as Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32. But in this case I suggest using this brand new product WeMos Teleinfo that just fit to these ESP8266/D1 Mini boards.

Is is also compatible with new Linky metering system in legacy (historique) and standard mode.

Shipping policy

"Lettre Verte", "Lettre Suivie", "Service Plus" shipments are not insured. The postal service sometimes loses mail—this is very rare, but it does happen. No claims can be made if this occurs. I cannot be held responsible for postal service errors. If you do not wish to take any risk, please choose registered mail.

Some letters may take up to 3 weeks to arrive. This is also rare but has happened before, so there is no need to worry if delivery occasionally takes longer.

Here are some extras that might be useful for your project!
Fully Assembled Plug & Play version with ESP32
USB version to connect to a computer / Raspberry PI
Minimal Shield where you can add your own ESP board
