What is it?
A high quality audio recorder. [Lego for scale, not included]
Like many people - I do videos, but audio on the camera is not ideal, so I used to use a shirt mic and expensive audio recorder.
This audio recorder is way better, it is designed to be a self contained, small, very high quality, stereo, shirt mic.
Records to SD card, and can be configured to upload using supplied open source software. Also works as USB connected storage for simple file transfers without removing the card. Pull requested welcome on GitHub.
Battery and USB lead not included. Battery readily available on Amazon.
- ESP32-S3-MINI-1-N4-R2 (Dual core, 4MB Flash, 2MB SPI RAM)
- WS2812 LEDs, one for L/R status, and a line of them for status/battery level
- Micro SD card slot fully wired for 4 bit working
- LiPo charge circuit, and almost zero power sleep/off mode
- USB-C for charging, programming, and file transfer
- Loop at top for lanyard or clip (both included)
- Latest version comes with 3D resin printed case - ideal for hand held or lanyard

It is compact, built in battery charger, WiFi, and the TDK microphones are excellent quality. Seriously, they are amazing.
