PLEASE, NOTE THAT IF YOU WANT TO SET THE EMULATOR AS DRIVES 0/1 YOU MUST OPEN YOUR X68000 AND UNPLUG THE RIBBON CABLES FROM THE INTERNAL FLOPPY DRIVES OR SET THEM AS UNIT 2/3 BY MOVING THEIR JUMPERS. **

FLIP-FLOP' is a standalone external floppy drive emulator for the Sharp X68000 (all models supported by the the use of proper adapter), a home computer created in 1987 by Sharp Corporation and sold only in Japan.

FLIP-FLOP' plugs to the external FDD connector on the back of X68000 (all models supported by the use of proper adapter).It emulates two floppy drives that can be set as 0/1 or 2/3 by moving the onboard switch.

'FLIP-FLOP' loads disk images (in .HFE and .HDM format) stored on a USB pen drive (2.0 or higher, NOT INCLUDED) and it's powered by a modified version of FlashFloppy firmware.'FLIP'FLOP' emulates some of the proprietary X68000 FDD signals meaning it can properly run all software.LED blinking and disk image auto-eject features are supported.

Technically speaking 'FLIP-FLOP' emulator consists of the following parts :
