Shipping information

This seller ships from Wellington, New Zealand

All orders ship from Wellington, New Zealand by NZ Post International Economy Tracked,

usually within 2 business days of your order (excluding weekends and NZ public holidays).

You'll receive tracking details by email once your order is on its way.

All items, regardless of size, are sent as a tracked parcel to meet customs requirements.

There is no extra shipping charge for multiple items in the same order.

Please read the section for your country below. Import rules changed significantly in 2026,

and for most destinations outside New Zealand you should expect to pay import charges when

your parcel is delivered.

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

🇺🇸 UNITED STATES

Typically 6–13 working days in transit, plus customs clearance.

✅ Nothing to pay on arrival. The price you pay at checkout is the final price.

Due to NZ Post restrictions, US orders have to be sent through their Small Business Sending

service, which charges us the US import tariff plus a processing fee before the parcel leaves

New Zealand. That cost is passed on to you at checkout: a 12.8% tariff line on the value of

your order, plus roughly NZD $5 added to the US shipping rate. In return your parcel arrives

duty-paid, with nothing to pay at the door and no customs delay.

If anyone does ask you for money on delivery, please don't pay it — contact us first and we'll

sort it out.

Orders above USD $2,500 cannot be sent duty-paid. Please message us before ordering if that

applies to you.

🇪🇺 EUROPEAN UNION

Typically 6–13 working days in transit, plus customs clearance time.

⚠️ You will be asked to pay import charges when your parcel is delivered.

Since 1 July 2026 the EU has removed the old €150 duty-free threshold. VAT and customs duty

now apply to every parcel entering the EU, whatever its value. Nothing is prepaid at checkout,

so the full amount is collected from you on delivery.

Why we can't prepay it for you:

NZ Post's business shipping services are the only ones that can carry a prepaid-VAT (IOSS)

registration or a duty-paid (DDP) arrangement through to customs. Those services don't

currently reach every EU country — Germany and Austria are both unavailable on them right now.

The standard service we use does reach every EU country, but it has no way to tell customs

that VAT has already been paid.

We've chosen the option that reaches everyone. Your shipping cost is the same or slightly

lower as a result, and nothing is hidden from you — but it does mean VAT and duty are

collected at your door instead of at our checkout.

What you'll pay:

• VAT at your own country's rate, on the value of the goods.

• Customs duty of €3 per unique product type. This is charged per distinct item, not per

unit — five of the same board is one charge of €3; three different products is €9.

In France the charge is €2 instead of €3.

• In some countries, a postal or customs handling fee on top. These are set by your national

postal service, not by us, and we receive none of it. Approximate figures:

Belgium €21.50 (orders up to €150)

Denmark 180 DKK

Luxembourg €18 (orders €22–150)

Czechia €14 customs declaration fee

Netherlands €10

Portugal €7

Cyprus €3.50

Greece €2.50–€15 depending on order value

Slovakia €3.20–€28 depending on order type and value

Croatia €2.46

Romania 25 RON logistics fee

Malta Malta Post customs fees apply

Slovenia Varies by order type and value

France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Poland and others — no handling fee listed

These are indicative and can change without notice. If your country isn't listed, or you

want a firm figure before ordering, please check with your national customs or postal

service — they're the only ones who can give you an exact number. We're happy to tell you

exactly what will be declared on your parcel so you can ask them.

If you are ordering several different products, note that each distinct product adds €3 of

duty. Ordering multiples of the same product does not.

Parcels to Italy may take longer than usual while the new EU customs rules bed in.

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

🇬🇧 UNITED KINGDOM

No VAT is collected at checkout for UK orders. Retrology Repair is not UK VAT-registered.

Typically 6–13 working days.

⚠️ Please keep your order under approximately £135 excluding shipping, to stay below the UK

low-value consignment threshold. Orders above £135 will be assessed by HMRC for VAT at 20%

plus possible customs duty, and the carrier will add a handling fee. If you need a larger

quantity, please split it across separate orders or message us first.

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA

Orders under AUD $1,000 enter Australia free of GST and duty. Nothing to pay on delivery.

Typically 3–6 working days.

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

🇳🇿 NEW ZEALAND

Prices include 15% GST. Retrology Repair is GST-registered and a tax invoice is provided with

your order. Nothing to pay on delivery. Typically 2–4 working days.

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

🇨🇦 CANADA

Typically 6–13 working days.

⚠️ You may be charged 5% GST plus a brokerage or handling fee on delivery. These are set by

the Canada Border Services Agency and the carrier, and are outside our control.

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

🌏 EVERYWHERE ELSE

We ship to most countries. Typically 6–13 working days, longer where customs processing is

slow.

⚠️ You may be charged import duty, VAT/GST, or a customs handling fee on delivery. These are

set by your own country's authorities, we receive none of it, and we cannot tell you in

advance what it will be. If you need to know before ordering, please contact your national

customs or postal service for a figure — or message us and we'll tell you exactly what will

be declared on your parcel so you can ask them.

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

WHAT WE DECLARE

Every parcel is declared honestly and in full: the goods description, the price you actually

paid, the tariff code and the country of origin. We do not under-declare parcels or mark

commercial orders as gifts. This keeps your parcel moving and keeps us compliant, but it does

mean import charges will be assessed correctly where they apply.

LOST, DELAYED OR DAMAGED PARCELS

International shipping can be slow and unpredictable. If your parcel hasn't arrived within a

reasonable window, get in touch and we'll investigate with the carrier. For parcels declared

lost, we'll send a replacement or refund, whichever you prefer, subject to stock.

If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the packaging

and the item.

REFUSED PARCELS

If a parcel is returned to us because import charges were refused or went unpaid, we'll refund

the order less the outbound and return shipping costs.

INCORRECT ADDRESSES

Please double-check your address at checkout. Re-shipping costs for parcels returned due to an

incorrect address are the buyer's responsibility.

A NOTE ON POLICY CHANGES

International shipping and customs rules are changing rapidly through 2026. Everything above is

correct as at 26 August 2026 and is subject to change without notice. If you have questions

about shipping to your country, message us through Lectronz and we'll reply within 1–2 business

days.
