24V DC Speaker Protection & Delay Module
Professional speaker protection module designed to eliminate turn-on and turn-off pops in audio amplifiers. The circuit delays speaker connection after power-up and instantly disconnects the speakers when power is removed, preventing unwanted transients from reaching your speakers.
It is fully compatible with Class D amplifiers based on TPA3116, TPA3255, and similar ICs, as well as most Class AB amplifiers requiring speaker output protection.
Each channel is switched independently. The module disconnects both the positive and negative speaker lines (L+, L−, R+, R−), providing complete isolation between the amplifier and the speakers. This makes it fully compatible with BTL (Bridge-Tied Load) amplifiers, where neither speaker terminal may be connected to ground.
Features Supply Voltage: 24 V DC Delayed speaker connection after power-on Instant speaker disconnection when power is removed Independent switching of all four speaker lines (L+, L−, R+, R−) Compatible with Class D amplifiers (TPA3116, TPA3255, and similar) as well as other BTL-output amplifiers High-quality RELPOL relays Current Rating Continuous Current: up to 5 A Peak Current: up to 7 A Why Choose This Module? High-quality RELPOL relays ensure reliable switching and long service life. Complete speaker isolation by switching all four speaker lines (L+, L−, R+, R−), making the module suitable for BTL amplifiers. Supports up to 5 A continuous and 7 A peak current. Compact PCB design for easy integration into amplifier projects. Important
For proper operation, the module must be powered on and off using the same DC power switch as the amplifier. Both the amplifier and the speaker protection module should be switched simultaneously. This ensures that when power is removed, the module immediately disconnects the speakers, effectively preventing turn-off pops and unwanted output transients.
