The SITH is an Arduino based Sample (or) Track and Hold circuit with a bunch of features.
*This is a DIY kit, you will have to solder it together yourself. Arduino IS NOT INCLUDED. * You can get an Arduino nano from this link. Make sure to pick a 328 version
Some images show the module with 3cm knobs. This new version uses 2.5cm knobs as shown on the blue version.
In my ongoing youtube series "Modular in a Week" I try to make good affordable modules, often out of the needs I have. When doing a video on how to use port manipulation to output higher resolution analog signals I thought this module would be a good way of showing a use for the technique, as it takes an analog value from an analog port (10bit input), and I then make it into a 10 bit output aswell.
It is a digital Sample and Hold, which is very stable compared to traditional S&H It also have many more features than most other S&H modules I've seen which makes it more versatile.
Check out the video below to see what I figured out it could do, and also some alternate function that is programmed in for random gate stuff: https://youtu.be/BoewbbyEvRc?t=776
And I made a new firmware with even more functions like:
Sample or Track and Hold (S|TH) - Main function (not covered in this video)
Random Gates - like half a branches with only one input and one output.
Sample and Slide - Like S&H but instead it slides between the values.
LFO & Hold - An LFO with adjustable edges that you can Hold.
AD Envelope - A simple AD envelope generator.
Percussive Noise - Meant to be a hihat, but is probably more of a Snare or clap sound. Very 80's game bomb and gunshot kindof noises. With Decay and Sample Reduction.
An extra "feature" is that the Percussive Noise can be used as a LoFi VCA if used with the input signal instead of internal noise, but only with Decay, and still with Sample Reduction for some gritty sounds.

The module is 6HP wide.
Shipping can be done in one of two ways, with tracking and without tracking.
If you choose to ship without tracking it is much cheaper, but neither I nor you know where it is from when I give it to my postal service and you recieve it from yours. I cant be held responsible for what the postal system does in this case.
If you choose tracking, we can both track the package and see if it goes astray.
It does happen from time to time that the postal service cant deliver a package, either because the address is wrong or they just cant find your house (this has happened), so tracking is always the better option for this aswell.
