This is the most basic possible vactrol-based VCA circuit, times 4, in a single AE module. It's very simple-- audio signal to one input, a CV to the other to control the volume, and an output. There's a switch to change from VCA to low-pass gate mode, but it's not a true LPG-- it provides a little high-frequency roll-off.

Because these are vactrols, they have a nice plucky sound and you can ping them with a trigger and get a little bit of a trail, or you can use them as a pretty much standard VCA.

I built this because I wanted a bunch of vactrols in a single AE module, and here it is! These are, more or less, the prototypes. There may never be another version.

I can provide the STL for the faceplate in case you want to customize it, replace it, or make your own.
