About:

This is a kit to make a Morse Transmitter for the RC2014, which transmits text from one RC2014 to another using one of the world's oldest and best known codes.

MG015 is designed to enable the dots, dashes and spaces of Morse to be timed easily and controlled simply by the RC2014. MG015 offers four jumper-selectable transmission speeds.

It provides its output either as TTL-level discrete output or via one of three jumper-selectable audio frequencies, with an on-board buzzer being provided which works best at 2kHz.

There is nothing to stop MG015 from being used for forms of On-Off Keying (OOK) other than Morse, if so desired.

MG015 has a companion Morse Receiver, MG016. Its output can also be played to online Morse Decoders such as:

What's included?

A PCB and all components required are included, including sockets for all ICs. A PDF with full instructions is available at the link below.

Please Note:

MG015 has been designed for RC2014 with reference to the RC2014 Module Template. All pinouts used and the physical outline are in compliance with the RC2014 Module Template.

RC2014 is a trademark of RFC2795 Ltd.

MG015 has been designed for hobbyist use only and is not to be used for safety or business critical applications.

MG015 and MG016 are capable of transmitting long messages accurately across a room between two RC2014’s, but there are many factors (such as ambient noise) that can affect this.

The payment of any import taxes and duties will be the responsibility of the Buyer.
