This M90q PowerRiser is a custom-designed riser card tailored for Lenovo ThinkCentre M90q Gen 1 and Gen 2, P340, P350 systems ONLY. It enables the addition of an extra NVMe M.2 drive (supports all NVMe form factors) while preserving the x8 PCIe connection through an open-ended x8 PCIe connector.

The x8 PCIe slot is open at the end, allowing for the installation of longer cards, such as x16 GPUs, providing greater flexibility in hardware choices. The electrical connection would still be x8 though.

Only compatible with the following models: ThinkCentre M90q Gen 1 and M90q Gen 2, P340, P350. The M.2 slot supports PCIe NVMe drives only, not SATA and operates at PCIe 3.0 speeds due to PCH limitations.

These boards are compatible with the following Lenovo riser FRU code: 5C50W00877. Basically, this riser will do the same job and will allow you access to an extra 4-lane NVMe M.2 slot, supporting all NVMe M.2 form factors, at PCIe 3.0 speeds.
