HyperVCU is a replacement controller mainly developed for the Joyor T6E electric scooter allowing the use of VESC motor drivers with the original display and lights.

It may also be useful for ebikes and other electric vehicles with code modifications but is currently only designed for the T6E.

Fingerprint reader: Without fingerprint reader the scooter will be immediately unlocked and master modes can be accessed only when standing via the pedestrian mode. With fingerprint reader it is only possible to drive after scanning a valid finger and the master modes can be accessed while driving.

Motor driver: The VCU contains a circuit to enable and disable VESC drivers with an enable pin. This may not work with every variant and some may have swapped RX/TX pins. By default the isolator is jumpered to 3.3V. Motor configuration requires knowledge about VESC settings and setup procedures.

Note: Keep in mind that in certain countries modifications to the drive train may affect the insurance status. Incorrect settings may affect the lifetime of components and battery. Only to be installed by professionals and for use on private property.
