The ESL Blaster is a USB high-speed infrared transmitter especially well suited to update segment and e-paper based Electronic Shelf Labels / price tags of one particular brand ;-)
They use a proprietary protocol with a high frequency carrier which IrDA and "consumer IR" devices can't support.
Can be used as an USB device, or standalone with a rechargeable LIR2032 coin cell.
Currently shipped boards are black.
