Features & Functionality

Wireless Temperature Sensor:

Many HVAC systems suffer from constant temperature fluctuations because the sensor inside the indoor unit heats up before the room heats up, causing the unit to shut down prematurely.

This is especially noticeable when the room is cold in the morning and you want to heat it up. The sensor may incorrectly think the temperature is reached, even though the room remains 3 degrees Celsius below the setpoint.

The same happens at low fan speeds, where warm air remains close to the unit, resulting in incorrect temperature readings and frequent on/off cycles.

The ClimateControl’s wireless sensor can be placed anywhere in the room for accurate readings.

This significantly improves temperature stability, adds comfort, reduces equipment wear, and saves energy.

Smart M-Air & RC-E5/RC-EX3A Thermostats:

The module has an accessory CNS port allowing you to connect an existing Smart M-Air Wi-Fi adapter in parallel. This way, you can continue using your existing devices while enjoying all the functionality of the ClimateControl module. The RC-E5 and RC-EX3A wall thermostats require a SC-BIKN-E to interface with the CNS port.

Frost Protection:

Helps keep your room above a minimum temperature during holidays. ClimateControl activates the indoor unit if the temperature drops below a set threshold, then switches it off once the target temperature is reached.

Temperature Limit:

Prevents energy waste or discomfort from extreme temperature settings. You can define minimum and maximum limits (for both heating and cooling!), overriding changes from the infrared remote.

Home Automation Integration

Home Assistant: Fully supports MQTT auto-discovery for seamless integration.
