XH Connector adapter for BTS7960 motor driver boards

What is it?

Th BTS7960 XH-Adapter is an add-on board for the commonly available BTS7960 motor driver module, and converts the existing male pin header connector into a polarised, locking XH connector.

This adapter can greatly reduce the case of non-polarised dupont style connectors coming loose during operation or being connected in the wrong orientation or position.

Since the BTS7960 motor driver board typically has 10K pulldown resistors on its inputs, external interfaces that use open collector or open-drain pins can't be used. This BTS7960 XH-Adapter has pullup resistors that allow the use of interfaces using open-drain/open-collector outputs.

Provided with a 4x2 pin female header unsoldered, allows this adapter board to be soldered directly to the BTS7960 motor driver module, or you can use the female header in case you want to disconnect the adapter later.

Why did you make it?

I got tired of experimenting with the BTS7960 motor driver module and having poor quality dupont jumpers always becoming loose and giving a poor quality connection. The BTS7960 XH-Adapter solved this problem. It doesn't come off the motor driver board, it is a single connector making dis/connection quick and easy.
