A2VERA

A2VERA is an Apple II adapter board that enables the use of the VERA video card (also used in OtterX and Commander X16) on a vintage Apple II, II+, IIe, or IIgs computer. A2VERA additionally supports the use of a YM2151 (or OPM2151 drop-in replacement)

Prototype Hardware!

This "EV1" release is the first revision of the A2VERA hardware which is being made available to developers interested in "early adopting" of the A2VERA. Future revisions may come with additional capabilities, a better form factor, and/or lower cost.

Notes:

Mounting VERA directly onto the A2VERA adapter will create a conflict between VGA and Audio cables and the Apple II case cover. This can be solved by using a ribbon cable and placing VERA outside of the Apple II case.
