## Description

#### What is it?

LED strip controller for use with WS281X/SK6812 RGB/RGBW addressable LED strips.

**This is strip powered, up to 17V so ideal for 12V strips**

- About as small as you can make using ESP32, 15mm x 27mm
- ESP32-S3-MINI-1-N4-R2 (Dual core, 4M flash, 2M SPI RAM)
- High quality TDK ICS 43434 MEMS microphone for sound reactive effects
- WAGO connector for easy wiring to strip
- Pre-loaded with my LED code
- Includes 3D printed case making 30mm x 22mm x 12mm ** NOT WATERPROOF **

This works with a range of LED strips using the popular WS281X, and SK6812 chip sets. The data line is 3.3V which works with these strips, even with strips powered from 12V, when connected directly to the strip.

**Comes with my LED code, to reflash you need to solder to USB pads, or use a TC2030 connector, as this has no USB connector**

#### Why did you make it?

Fun - I have loads of these around the house.

#### What makes it special?

- Very small
- TDK ICS 43434 I2S MEMS microphone is very sensitive and ideal for sound reactive effects
- The switch mode power supply means it can be powered from the strip 5V-17V

#### Using LED strips

LED strips come in a range of lengths and densities and voltages. If you are new to LED strips, one of the main things to consider is power requirements. A typical 5V LED strip can from a USB charger (i.e. 2A+), but high density strips and multiple strips may need additional power supplies. The power also depends how you use the strip, so if you are not running all LEDs on full brightness white you may not need as much power.

If you want longer strips, a 12V type, such as WS2815, is ideal. Strips normally have a pair of extra wires for power - connect that to 12V, and connect the three wires to this board. Note 4 wire WS2815 only need 3 wires connected to the controller (GND/DI/PWR).

My son has loads of videos on LED strips and using these boards at [https://hiwtsi.uk/](http://hiwtsi.uk/)

## Shipping policy

All parcels shipped with tracked shipping, usually shipped within one working day. If you find a large order has no shipping to EU, try placing smaller orders under €150. And we're sorry for US customers as it seems tariffs are now 50%.
