## Meet EdgeS3[D]

EdgeS3[D] is a complete ESP32-S3 development board on a removable M.2 B-Key module. Plug it into a carrier PCB, pull it out and reuse it in your next project. It has an onboard antenna and a u.FL connector, switchable from your code, an I²C fuel gauge for battery monitoring, and eight extra IO from its onboard expander.

---

![Series[D] features: Both antennas. One board. · Switch in software. · Know your battery.](https://unexpectedmaker.com/images/product-content/series-d-features-edges3d.gif)

> **NOTE** The onboard antenna is selected by default, so you never need to worry about the RF switch being in a bad state, or the ESP32-S3 getting damaged if you forget to plug in an external antenna.

## Which B-Key M.2 Connector will I get?

![Amphenol B-Key connector](https://unexpectedmaker.com/images/product-content/amphenol-m2-b-key.png)

The M.2 connector I use on the EdgeS3[D] Carrier PCB, and that I ship here is the Amphenol MDT275B03001, which is a side entry B-Key connector that is 2.75mm in height, and has the EdgeS3[D] sitting 1mm off the PCB.

Available at [Mouser](https://mouser.com/ProductDetail/523-MDT275B03001) and other online distributors.

> **Note:** EdgeS3[D] is not compatible with a M.2 slot in your computer. Please don't attempt to insert it "just to see".

## Shipping policy

All products purchased from this store ship directly from me here in Melbourne, Australia.
Orders are processed daily and usually go out within a few days!
I'm currently unable to ship to Germany, Denmark, or Sweden, but I am doing my best to work with Australia Post and Zonos about this issue; sorry for any inconvenience.
Finally, postage rates suck, and they keep going up; sorry :(
