It supports additional functionality not available in the original TR-606 drum machine as well as features that make it more suited to the Eurorack format: - **Accent (AC) CV / Gate (GT) Input:** The accent input allows each trigger to have a different accent setting for more dynamic drum tracks. The BD-606 now has two selectable accent modes: **AC CV** mode and **AC GT** mode. * **AC CV Mode:** AC CV mode allows the Accent setting to be modified by an external analog CV input. The AC trim setting acts as an offset for the AC CV input voltage. * **AC GT Mode:** AC GT mode allows the Accent effect to be gated (On/Off) rather than continuously variable, similar to the functionality of the original TR-606. The AC trim setting sets the accent amount for gated beats. - **Tone:** Adjust the tone of the drum - ranges from a deep drum kick to a high 'tom' sound. - **Oscillator Mix:** Set the mix of the internal 'bass' and 'click' oscillators. - **Internal Gate to Trigger Conversion:** No need for an external converter - the module responds to only the rising edge of a gate signal and creates a precisely timed trigger pulse.
